what a find, innit?

check in went proper quick, and the receptionist was a right laugh. the executive double room had a proper spacious feel, i tell ya. the hotel got a car park around the back, so parking wasn't a problem at all. breakfast was a winner, no doubt, with all the usual bits.
stairs to the second floor were a bit of a climb, especially with my luggage, i'm not gonna lie.

the location is ace, near enough to the city center, so getting around is easy. it only takes a short taxi ride, and even walking isn't bad if you got the time and energy. loads of ubers kicking about too, so getting a ride is never a hassle.

the staff are super friendly, always willing to help with whatever you need. they sorted out my check in proper fast and was always smiling. you feel right at home i swear, and that makes a big difference, don't it?

the hotel room was well clean and had all the amenities you'd expect, like a good shower. the breakfast was proper decent with a good full English. the parking was free, saving me a few quid, always a bonus.

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues

I experienced a mix-up with bookings upon arrival. I was informed that no room was ready at 4:30 PM. A staff room was offered for getting ready for a concert, but it wasn't very clean (it's also quite cold). Breakfast the next morning included beans and cheese on toast, but it arrived barely warm.

the breakfast had many options and tasted great i especially liked the scrambled eggs with toast one morning i also found the room very clean and tidy cleaners were active and thorough it was a nice size with everything i needed. i found parking easy and it was easy to get into the city center from there.
the room decor seemed a bit dated and it felt quite cold when i arrived i had to ask for a heater to warm it up they provided one quickly. the corridors felt narrow and there were some steps to navigate to reach my room it might be difficult for someone with mobility issues. also the front of the hotel didn't look very well kept.

the room was cold because it was snowing outside. the radiators were only lukewarm, and there was no additional heater available.

the Staff are friendly and helpful. the location is great for a short walk into town. My room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. i found the hotel location PERFECT.
the photos online show colourful bedspreads. MY room was bland and beige however. the room was a bit cold i had my socks on ALL night.
